Pontianak, Ampaning!

Waves of emotions the night before settling off.

Lion airline that bought us to Jakarta, followed by Pontianak, Thank God for safety and journey mercy  throughout these 7 days! Indeed, His protection!
Mountain of bags which needed to explain why I captured this photo! When we arrived Pontianak, Pastor Ecko and Pastor Junie welcomed us by fetching us at the airport. There were 16 of us, 22 bags and luggage(s) in total which we need to squeeze in a car, We break-up into 2 groups. 3 of us Michelle, liping and myself were at the back of the car and these mountain of bags were in-front of us! haha. short journey, God's goodness still endures!

Day 2: Morning devotion was about faith! Such timely encouragement because before departing for this mission trip was a faith step for me! :') We then head to house to house visitations! Remembering heading to Yibu's house! We smiled with a sweet smile when she saw us. Was told to share with her a short passages and encouragement! The moment, I asked the first question, her teary eyes captured my attention. That's where I felt compelled to share God's love with her in 1 John.
We ministered and believed God had melted and softened her heart.

We head to an ice-cream store! Yes, the weather was fiery, blazing hot! But our intention weren't there to eat icecream (although we did) But we connected with a youth there! He was pretty opened, and he came for our youth rally that night! :')

At night, we had our first youth rally at Pontianak. The youth worship team was awesome, they even had tambourine dance part of worship. God touched many youths.
Pastor's active 2nd daughter, Ruth

Day 3: Traveled to Ampaning via boat! 3 hours journey :')

House of House visitations to chief and various leaders' houses!
Had our very own prayer meeting at night! A time of prayer for the land of Ampaning!

Day 4:
Morning we head to "build" the church! Cleaning up the whole place, making our own projector screen and Pastor placed "Harvester" banner up! :') Remembering collecting water from one of the river, the greenery was beautiful compared to those weren't near the river. Spring of water- God is life! Lastly, One prophetic actions we need was clearing the weeds that surrounds church! Tough but worth it! :')

Day 4 (continued): Medical missions- was glad that i am able to apply my medical skills and using my broken Berhasah language to communicate with them. Bought forth much joy within one's heart :')

Miracles happened at night! The plan was- we were supposed to have cell group in the church that we built earlier in the morning! We were praying for electricity and lights as there was a black out.
We prayed and prayed, after 10 min the lights came. Sadly, after 5-10 min the lights went off again! We evaluated that it was due to our complacency and lack of pray. There was also a sudden downpour and the brothers weren't back.
We started praying and praying again. This went on for 1,5hrs! The most amazing and astounding thing that happened was the electricity and lights lighted up! We just kept praying- praying for people to come!

We had cell group back at where we stayed! One Yibu came with 4 youths and bunch of children! Gladly sharing and worshiping God together!

Day 5: We went to many houses of visitations and medical mission part 2.
Faith was required crossing wooden planks, stepping on shaky logs in order to cross over... The first picture above was a looooooooooooong walk to one of the houses we want to visit! I was so blessed by a little boy that held me hand tightly so that i won't fall. (He gave me that assurance by holding my right, just like how God promised you to hold your right hand in the midst of everything)

We had to travel back sitting on Saban boat! Was wobbly and unstable. :/ The spiritual attacks were strong even in the midst of all. Saddened by how the devil uses various people to attack us! But still, FEAR NOT! for God was with us. :')

Day 6: Morning- Intensive, stretching, muddy-spattered prayer walk around the beautiful Land of Ampaning!  God spoke personally to me a lot!  :')

We then had Children church outreach, youths soccer and youth service at night ! They were amazing kids. Singing out their lungs and the whole church's wooden planks seem like falling of when they started dancing and jumping around. Nevertheless, God's love overwhelmed many youths and children that day!

Youth rally was such a breakthrough i Believe! :') We didn't had our testimony and word! God just moved- many ! There was a boy who was touched by God however he was also welcoming Dyat spirits in his life, the warfare was strong. While he was on the floor, he was dancing like a snake.  Pastor prayed and prayed and even ran out to shoo the spirits as he saw the spirits mingling outside the church. Whoa- such an eye-opener! :/
At the end of everything, we had group sharing. Was really blessed and joyful- 2 girls telling me in Beharsah, "gargar, can you come back to Ampaning?"

Day 6: We had our last Sunday service with the people in Ampaning! :') Beyond words I can say, God is mind-blowing and faithful to continue the works there! :')

Departure was painful! :'( waving with tears in my eyes!
We head back to Pontianak, we did prayer walk and prayer drive- believing and claiming God's people and land! Felt so much for the youths there.
Favourite picture :')

Overall, God's heartbeat moves my heart deeply! He spoke, His words was louder than the distraction i had in Singapore. He allowed me to see through the eyes of many! The brokenness yet simple faith they had broke my heart! The tedious and heartbreaking moment, being in the presence of God bought me to a place telling God, "You break my heart for what breaks yours."
I felt His heartbeat- tachycardia, beating fast for this land! :') Fruitful and personal trip!

Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like You have loved me
Break my heart for what breaks Yours
Everything I am for Your Kingdom's cause
As I walk from nothing to eternity
