Sometimes...

The little "me" inside of me wants to take control of everything 
The little "me" inside of me desires to know full well; the beginning and the end
The little "me" inside of me wants to be the strongest, smartest, and even wiser...

He showed me what it means to abide in Him, He is the Vine and I am the branches. "Sometimes when bad things happen, it is hard to remember that You are good of the time and Your love is always faithful." Yet you never fail to draw me close you You during these times and helped me to see things through an eternal perspective. The "little me" say I know, yet You say "You know better." All I could do is to surrender;  to abide; to have a right-standing relationship with You and to allow you to intervene to see a beautiful breakthrough in your timing. I know that it will be alright after the storm, to see a rainbow. 

Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. - Romans 8:26-28
